What Home Means To Me

What home means to me I have a home just a simple black building. Nothing too special but it is my small, little home that I love so much. You see there is a difference between a house and home. A house is just an ordinary building with walls and a floor but a home is a place to make memories and a place to make friends. Everyone needs a perfect place to call their own where they can laugh, play, talk, and be themselves. No matter who you are, or where or you live, everyone deserves a home. I often see people and families living at bus stops or in tents at parks and it makes me really sad to see that some people don’t have the luxury of a nice home to sleep and relax in. Did you know that almost 235,000 people in Canada are homeless and 40,000 are children? I, as one person, can’t do much to help but I'm trying by writing this essay. If this helps even one family I will be happy because all I want is to give someone the privilege of having a home.
