Home is Where the Heart Is

There's a very big difference between a home and a house. A house could be your neighbor’s house, an abandoned house, It's almost like a random place. “Homes” could also be anything if you think about it. Home could be a cabin, a house, your friend's house, a trailer. As you can see, a home is something that you love. Doesn't matter where you are. A home is a special place, it could be where you live or where someone/something that you care about lives. There can be multiple homes in your life, for example, your Grandma's house and your house. Two special places that you love very much, it's just basic stuff. Say, you're staying at an overnight camp that you were forced into, and you don't like anything there, would that be a home? Probably not. But! If you were staying at your best friend's house that you knew for 10+ years, would that be a home? Probably. See the difference? That camp isn't a place you feel comfortable, loved in. Your best friend's house is the place where you might feel comfortable and safe. Home and a house are similar words, which can mean the same thing but they also can have different meanings too! As I said earlier, They can be anything at all, but I think it should be somewhere you can stay the night in. A home is where you feel comfortable, safe, and loved.
