The meaning of home for me is the comfort of a good family that cares for you, the safety of a house and a family to protect you, and love beyond measure. Home is family. Family for me is all the happy moments together with me, my mom, my dad, my brother and my bunny Manila. Family is the nights we eat take out and then go watch the olympics or a movie on the TV afterward. Family is when we go on canoe trips all through the summer, we remember those moments. Home is safety. Safety for me is the feeling that my whole family is there to protect me. Safety is knowing that at night I have a building to protect me from the harsh weather outside. Safety is knowing that there will probably not ever be war in Peterborough as long as I live. Home is love. Love for me is that feeling of affection for family and friends. Love is those times where we forget our differences and be together. Love is all those times me and my brother play together whether it is video games or with toys we love each other in those moments. Love is the times me and my friends play outside and play games or do an activity. That is love. By writing this assignment it is my hope that all humans will have a home safety and love and that they can build a home where they will know that they are safe.
