The Feeling of Home

A house A house Is somewhere to take shelter from rain A home is somewhere to take shelter from fear The warm welcoming walls open their arms to take me in When a smell from the kitchen drifts me in My kitchen is not ordinary It's not just counters, fridges or tables Its were we eat together, play together and love together When the time is late we tip tow up the stairs to sleep And with the feeling of safety under my sheets and with the blankets cradling me I drift of to sleep When the morning air rolls around and the soft sunlight Reaches my face i make the bed that will cradle me tonight I always feel loved in my home in day or night because my family doesn't care if i do it wrong or right They love me no matter w hat and I can be myself as much as I please But the thing I love most is they will help whenever I need I wrote this poem to help another Because everyone deserves a house but more importantly A home.
