Home means so many things to me. It is the laughter that comes from my family. It is also the amazing memories my family and I have collected over the years, and home is all the sports games we play together. Home is Family, warm and cozy. It’s cookies night with grandma in December where we make lovely cookies for us and Santa. I enjoy spending time with mom and dad watching movies under the big lego movie blanket. I always am excited when I have time to play with Rusty after the second I get my homework done. I love to annoy my sister so she wakes up in the morning but that’s what makes it home. Home is family. Home is memories. It is our 2 amazing trips to Florida while jumping in the pools and sticking our feet in the ocean on the white sand beach. It is all our amazing trips to Hamilton on Christmas Eve to see Grandma, Grampie and the rest of our family. It has always been all the times that we’ve gone fishing, reeling up all of the fish in the lake. Home is memories. Home is sports. It is all of the amazing sports that we can play in our backyard. I love learning new ways to chip in golf. It’s learning all the new tricks and tips to be good at soccer. It will always be dad teaching me new cool things that are hard in basketball. Home is sports. I know that I am lucky to have all of these things in my life. Not many people have that, all the homelessness is insane, but Habitat for Humanity changes that.
