What Does Home Mean to Me

To me a home means that I can be comfortable, feel welcomed, be myself, feel loved by my family and much more but one important thing is I feel safe in my home because I live with people that love me like my mom, my dad and my brother.You can call something a home and it could be big or small it does not matter where it is.You just need to feel happy or joyful when you're there. A house to me is my friends, and other random people that call that their home. You may not feel as comfortable or welcomed, loved and other things that you feel in your own home. Believe it or not, a home and a house are similar but not the same thing even though the words are alike. They are different because people feel different things in their home. You may feel more loved and safe in a house more than their own home because some peoples homes are on the street or more places you would never want to live and that is because of bad things that could have happened to them like they could have gotten kicked out of there house or other things. It would be awful to live on the streets because you would be thirsty, hungry, cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. A lot of people should start writing things like this for habitat for humanity so people can have more affordable housing and get a home for people who don't have one, that is why i am writing this.
