Meaning of Home

Home is not always a building but a feeling that you have in your bones. Home is anything you want it to be. Home to me is when I’m with family, when I feel joy, and when I have freedom. The meaning of home to me is family. Home is never where I feel sad and that’s because I’m with my family. Home is a place where you are loved. Home is having people support you. Home is a place where you're not afraid to just do you. Home is eating with my family every night. Home is warm hugs when I wake up. Home is family. The meaning of home to me is happiness. Home is playing in my hot tub. Home is me and my brother playing mini stick hockey in my basement with my dad. Home is when we play in my pool together or when we watch a movie on the couch. Home is playing board games and laughing together while doing it. Home is bouncing on the trampoline or playing catch with my brother. I spend most nights at home and there’s no place I’d rather be. The meaning of home to me is being free to do what I want. Home is being able to eat. Home is sleeping in my bed at night or being able to watch tv and having a shelter from the cold. Home is happiness while chasing my little brother around the house. Home is relaxing after a day of school. Home is freedom. I’m lucky to have a home, but sometimes I forget that. I am sure a lot of people do. But the chance to help people who can’t afford a home doesn’t come every day, so I want to help. Everyone should.
