My Safe Home

My house is not just a building to me, It is a home with all my family. It was carefully made of bricks and a roof, It keeps us warm and dry, it is waterproof. Home is where we laugh and play, I go there every single day. Home is where we have lots of fun, Inside or out in the sun. Home is where we grow up, It is where we beg for a pup. Home is where we can be unique, It is where we can play hide and seek . In the winter the cold wind blows, So we stay inside and watch some movies and shows. When we are done there is lots of snow, It is way too cold so we make cookie dough. In the spring the flowers bloom, It smells like pink sweet perfume. The nice chilly but warm breeze, Brings out the good honey bees. In the hot summer, It is not a bummer. We have no school, So we jump in the pool. In the fall you hear the cold wind call, And the piles of leaves are not that small. Even though we have to rake, We have a fun time that is not a mistake. Our home is filled with love, joy and peace, And outside we see Canadian geese. We read the bible, And we smile. At the end of each day, We sit down and we pray. With our family we stay, In our home, hooray!
