What is Home?

What is Home? To me, when I think of home I think of a place filled with memories, safety, and most importantly family. When I think of home I think of memories. Home is filled with memories because of the events with family, friends and even pets. Let’s say once in a lifetime fun, exciting events happen in your house, you will remember them forever. If you have traditions in your family and you celebrate it every year at your house then that's what makes your house a home. Memories are a large part of what makes a house a home. To me safety is really important in a home. Home is safe because of the family you live with or even the pets and maybe it's a certain item. Safety is important because not many people are able to feel safe in their house. Home could even just be safe because of an animal or pet you own. Most importantly though home is safe because it’s the place where you feel safe and comfortable. Safety is a big part of what makes a house a home. To me family is what makes a place a home. Home is family because of the people you live with or maybe even animals or pets you have. Home is family because the people you trust live with you, they are the people you love most. Family isn’t always just blood related so if you live with a friend maybe that's what makes your house your home. I feel as if family is the most important thing that makes a house a home. Home is filled with memories, safety and most importantly family because of all the spectacular reasons I have just stated.
