To me, Home Means
To Me, Home Means
Home means memories, a feeling of safety and love, and a sense of comfort.
Home is having great memories together. At home we have taco Tuesday and we also share cooking skills. I like taco Tuesday because my family is able to cook with each other and have one of their favourite foods. This makes memories and traditions. We also make Valentine’s day treats like a heart shaped pizza and cookies. There are so many great memories that it is hard to choose.
Home is a feeling of safety and love. Once, I fell and hurt my ankle. My family helped and took me to the hospital. This made me feel safe. Older siblings try to help each other. Like, when Layne gets hurt I try to stop it and help. I do this because I love my siblings. Being at home makes me feel safe and loved.
Home is a sense of comfort and the ability to be myself. When I am at home I feel like there is no pressure and I can just be me. For example, I can just do my art anyway I want. When I have a bad day or need to talk about my problems I am able to be comfortable and just talk it out. This makes me feel really happy.
To me this is what home means. I really like home.
