Home is Anywhere
The house was quiet,
the words were calm.
I stood there and sang my song.
All the things we got through,
the last thing I said to you was I love you.
Tucked in every night,
day by day I see the light.
All the memories we have had,
I will never forget them even if they were bad.
Playing with family in the rain,
day by day memories grow in my home, here they flow.
My family gives me love,
it all flows through my blood.
Sometimes it is nice to leave home,
but never ever let it go.
At home you should feel,
comfortable and loved.
In my home there is a
loving family and
lots of walls to protect me.
A home can even be a shed,
as long as you have a roof over your head,
some people don’t.
That is why God is there to protect you and bless you.
In your home there is hope and faith.
I am never alone when I am in my home.
If you don’t feel safe,
Habitat for humanity is here for your own grace.
Mom and dad read me a story,
I sit there with lots of glory.
A house is made of bricks,
a home is made with love.
No matter how far I stray,
home is whereear my heart will stay.
Home is where I grow,
I looked out the window and saw a crow.
As the day’s go by
My words fly
Out the door
I say goodbye
Habitat for humanity can make you cry,
With joyful tears,
That will never die
