What HOME Means to Me
My home is special. My home is safe. My home is a graceful place.
My home is not replaceable. Even though I moved doesn't mean I don't have a home. Home is not the place, the looks, the stuff it is about the people, friends, and the memories. In my home we try to be nice. We usually try to be helpful. We are thankful for the roof over our heads. In my home we have happiness.
In my home we work together. We help each other. We love each other. My family does have a couple fights once in a while but we are tight. Together we are unbeatable. We come together for the greater good. My family sticks together for the hard days and the easy days. We see each other through.
In my home we welcome everyone. You ring the doorbell and we answer, your welcome in. We have two cats. Their way of welcoming you inn will be cuddling your legs and sleeping on your lap. We will not turn you down.
Some nights we get together and start a fire. Then we snuggle up close and talk about our day. My dad is the lead of the praise and worship team so I like to sing songs with my dad.
When I first found out that some people aren't as lucky as me I thought, everybody deserves a house and a place to call home. I hope that the ten dollars helps give a family a house and a place to call home.
That's what home means to me.
