What HOME means to me

When people hear or say the word home everyone starts to think about something very personal. Home means not only the city, town, country or residential place where the person lives. It’s something else, it’s a whole universe of the best feelings and moments of your life which is memorized and treasured in your heart. If you think about home you’ll imagine the place where you were born and grew up. Where you play with your friends your favourite games, where you go to school and where everyone speaks your language and understands you and you feel like you belong. Home is the place where you should feel comfortable and relaxed. The place where you are surrounded by people who you love and people who truly love you. Where you follow traditions and your favorite food is made. For me it's my mom's food. She makes many traditional Russian foods like kasha, (Russian porridge) borsh, (Russian soup) and bline (Russian crepes). They are all delicious. You should try some one day. Home is the place where you should feel safe not only from the rain, storms, and the cold, but also from negativity, sadness, and loneliness. Home is the place you are always welcome no matter day or night no matter how old you are no matter who you are you’re always welcome home. Home is the place where you always want to come back like the birds following their instinct going back home, so do we, following our feelings and memories going back home too. No matter how nice a different place is, you want to be home. Home personally to me is when my mom makes my favorite cheese buns that wake me up in the morning. When on saturday we eat our favorite food bline (Russian crepes) When I come home from school or hockey my dog jumps up on me and gives me lots of kisses because he wants a hug. When sometimes me with my family have a fun time with movie nights or just playing board games together. Home for me is the place where I have happiness, love, fun, relaxation, and joy.
