Home Is a Small Word with a Deep Meaning

A home is not a building, it is an emotion and a feeling. It is a place full of different smells, sights, and smells. A perfect home isn’t perfect. When I walk into my home, Lego is scattered everywhere. I hear my brother screaming or fighting. I smell the smell of home. Every home is different with the sights, smells, and sounds. These things are what make a home a home. Home is not a home without family, happiness, and joy. Home is a place full of memories. These memories can be happy or sad. Everyday some loud and crazy moments occur. It is where you feel accepted and can be yourself. A home does not have to be a house it can be an apartment, or it can be something totally different. Home is warm and cozy, safe and comfy. Your home can be big or small, purple or pink, but it is still your home. You should be grateful you have a home, many others don’t. I thank Habitat for Humanity for giving me a chance to share my thoughts and feelings about this amazing place. There is no place like home.
