A home

What is a home? Not a house. A home is a place where we see joy and our family, not brick walls. A home can be anywhere in a car or an apartment, anywhere. A home is where we feel safe, happy, and joyful. You can have one or two parents, or a guardian, but you can have a home. I feel at home with my family, my friends and my community. If I can feel like that, all of us can because we are one. No matter what differences we have, we are one. Home is where you learn and grow. Home is a place that never fades. Home is a place to have fun and express feelings. A house is just brick walls and a bunch of stuff, while home is a place to make memories and be happy. Memories are reminders of love and happiness. We can help other people to have homes by sharing food and water and inviting them into our own. A home is where we are one, a place where we are kind to each other. Our elders are old so you should take care of them. Building homes will strengthen are community. Thank you Habitat For Humanity for giving me a chance to share this.
