My meaning of Home

A house is different to a home. “A house is made of walls and beams, a home is made of love and dreams.”(Emerson, n.d). A home is a place I can go back to. I can go back when I need help, or I feel bad. Where you can go and feel safe. A home is also filled with good memories. A home has memories from when I was young. It has memories of good times, having fun with my friends and family. Memories of love and hope. “A memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.” (Savage, the wonder years, n.d). Furthermore, a home is where I am free to be myself. A place where I can be myself and no one can judge me. A home is a place that is special to me. Lastly, a home is important to each person for different reasons. Whether it’s because it has happy memories or you feel safe there or it reminds you of fun times, your home is yours and it is yours to keep. My home is a place no words can describe. But all I can tell you is I hope I help someone get a home so they can feel the same wonder and love I do when I see my home. References Ralph Waldo Emerson.
