What home means to me

To many people home is just a bunch of concrete and bricks stacked on top of each other, but that’s not true. Home isn’t the looks on the outside but the things on the inside like my family, the memories, and the fun games we play together. Sometimes I think that my home could be somewhere else, and not just where I sleep. My home could be at my grandparents house, or in a completely different country, but my home allows me to enjoy myself and my family members. My home is a place for my siblings and I to roam. When I think of home I think of a gathering spot for my family. I know that will will never feel alone, and that I know that my parents and siblings are there to support me and get me through hard times. My home lets me play with my siblings and put everything in a picture frame. Home is where I treasure all the memories and mistakes, that my family and I have made together. Home allows me play and dress up with my siblings so that I have a good memory of it when I am older. I think of how my home is a shelter, and small place for me to hang out in. Home is a place where I can lie down and know that I am protected and loved. When I am home I know that I am surrounded by people who loved and care for me. Home is where I took my first everything, my fist step, my first words and my first art piece. Everything inside my home like the love and memories, makes it my HOME.
