Home Sweet Home

My home was a house. Just bricks and windows. When I moved in it was boring and blank. I didn't like it. It was ugly and unfashionable. Then I put my love into it. I turned it into my home. My home was beautiful. My house wasn't. I put all my love and my home loved me back. My home makes me feel safe. It helps me when I'm down. I soon believe this is where I want to be. My home without love is not a home. It is just a boring old house. A house is not what keeps you feeling loved and safe. A house might protect you. But a home keeps you loved and safe on the inside. My home might be different from yours but they're all the same on the inside. Your home might be smaller or bigger. But on the inside you feel loved and safe inside. My home is what keeps me safe.
