Ther's No Place Like Home
There is no place like home! A house might be a shelter but is way different than a home. A home is a place to feel safe, loved, cozy, and so much more! No one could change my mind about what a home is, because a home is where you learn from your mistakes, be yourself, and feel like you belong.
When I am at home, I feel like I am a powerful, amazing, beautiful person. A home is where you spend time with family, make memories, but sometimes we get sad. Even though we are sad, we know that there is a roof above our heads, and we have a place to feel safe and let our emotions out.
I personally think that everyone deserves a home, it doesn’t matter what the person’s past was like. We all deserve a home. No matter how big or small the home is, it is what is on the inside. You don’t have to impress anyone with your home. What matters is if you think it is a home.
I believe that when you are at home, you should know that you are loved and it is your safe space. But, it takes quite a bit of time to change a house into a home. During Covid, I really realized what a home is. I thought I knew before, but things have changed. I realized that a home is a place to have good times, feel happy, and spend time with family.
The point of this essay is to tell you that a home does not have to be pretty, or big to really make it feel like a home. You can have a big home, but you don’t need a big home. I love my home, and not because of the size, or the look of it. It is because of the times I have had in my home, and how it makes me feel.
