The Meaning of Home

A home and a house are not the same thing. A house is a building you live in, a shelter or something you that has things you need. However, a home is a place you feel safe and comfortable. Some people's house may not be their home. Your home could be anywhere - school, work, friend's house, relative's house, etc. Home should make you happy and feel cared for and safe. A home isn't a place you dread going to because you don't feel welcomed or safe, a home could be multiple places or just one place you love and feel loved in. My homes are my house, my auntie and uncle's house and school. In every single one of these places I love, I feel safe and comfortable and welcomed, no matter what. This is what a home means to me.
