Meaning of Home

Home means lots to me. It is my comfort. It gives me safety, a family and happiness. My family is always there for me. We share awesome and bad moments. Dad is the humor of the household. He doesn't take things too seriously. He is always making up silly songs. Dad is the driver, Mr fix-it, and my best friend. He calls himself Bob as a joke. I'm not sure why. Mom calls everyone by the wrong name. I'm not sure why either. But I know she loves me even when she calls me by my brother's name.Mom is the first person I see each day. She gives lots of hugs. Her cheese pasta is my favorite. My brother James and I share a love of slurpees,video games and going to the lake. He can be very moody and loud but he's only six. My brother and I get along most of the time and we have more in common these days. We have three dogs. They can be really loud too. My household is super noisy and super crazy but we have lots of fun. We have a nice house. Sometimes there are sad times, but mostly my house is a happy place. In our house we watch movies, sometimes play board games, and hang out with the dogs.I love to give the dogs treats and try to teach them tricks. They seem happy to see me when I get home from school. My grandparents live close to me, same with my aunt and uncle. I like riding my bike to visit them. And they are always happy to see me. I am lucky to have people that love me. My home is a joyful place, it is also a safe place. I can be myself at home. My home makes me feel safe and protected from the outside world. I trust my family. I know that they support me. No matter if we are together or not. I know that we all support each other and that my mom and dad try to keep me out of harm's way. Home means lots to me. It is my comfort. It is sharing, It is love. We have a nice house but my home is always with me.
