Meaning of Home

Meaning Of Home Home to me is various things, and when I think of home the first image that pops up is my bed, I think of it because I feel comfortable and safe on it. I also spend most of my time in my room relaxing on my bed. I also use my bed as a chair for my desk. Another reason I think of my bed is because I have had it for my whole life. I feel relaxed in my home. You sleep in peace and feel comfortable acting like yourself around people known to you and places you are familiar with in your home. Along with your home being comfortable it is cozy in the winter and cool in the summer and I am able to trust that. In my home I feel safe, like money being guarded in a bank or a safe. I can trust that my family will always be there for me and my brother. My father is there to protect me from my older brother charging at me, my father will always be there to protect me and I can trust that. I know for sure that I am extra safe because the doors to outside in my house have locks so no stranger or burglars can get in. When I leave for a vacation or just going out, I can trust no one will take my money or valuables in our home. I don’t need a safe to keep valuable items or money guarded. Most importantly I trust my family and know they won’t try to take my currency. If they do, they ask me first so I don’t have to hide anything or keep something from them. That is home to me and I wish many others will be able to relate in the near future from the Meaning of Home foundation! It is sad to think how many people in the world have no place to call home. My favourite quote is “I work hard to make this house a home”
