Meaning of Home

I am doing my essay on the meaning of home.To me home means safety, love, and your place. Home is safe so to me you need a safe and sturdy structure as well as necessities like food and water. 1 in every 8 Canadian households do not have a safe home. Love is in my opinion very important because you need people to connect with family and friends. Also you need people to feel safe with. Home is somewhere to look forward to, not somewhere you dread. For example if you are coming home from school you don’t want to take the long way home because you don’t want to go home. Instead you take the best way home.You want to feel happy and safe there. That is what home means to me.
