When I Think Of Home

When I think of home I think of family. I’ve watched several films where the parents die or have to leave the family for different reasons. In situations like this, people think that just because they aren’t with their birth-parents, they don’t think that they have a home. But even if you aren’t with your actual parents, you still have a home especially if the people you are with are loving and caring. I feel bad for those who live on the streets, the people who live in a car or camper, or for those who need a better house. There is a building behind my church where people without a house flock together to get warm. I feel bad for them because they are always trying to get inside the building, but I don’t think anyone is there. I think that the reason people want their own house is because they want to be safe. They want to have a good place to live. They don’t want to be living on the streets, a car, or a tent. People want a good neighborhood where the people are truthful and kind. Everyone has a home but not everyone has a house. When you have a home you are with your family, home is where people are kind. A house can get destroyed and a home can’t, houses are wood and brick, but homes are made up of people. I think that we can help a lot of people to get a good home or neighborhood by donating to your local Habitat For Humanity, and telling more people about donating to Habitat For Humanity! Thanks for reading about what I think of home!
