What home means to me

Hello! I'm Brigh, this essay is about what home means to me. I will be talking about why housing should be affordable and why you should look forward to going home to your house. A home is not the house, the walls or the things inside it, a home is the people. The people is the thing that make a house a home because without the people you love and care about your house would just be four walls.My home was made a home with the help of my family, friends and pets, because if i didn't have them at my home with me I’d be very lonely. Even if you don’t have a house you can still have a home with friends, family or pets. Having a home is important to me because I care alot about my friends, family and pets. Without my dog Clover I’d be lost, she’s my best friend. I believe everyone should have a best friend. Having a best friend is the starting point for some people making a home. Now I will talk about why housing should be affordable and less expensive. Housing needs to be more affordable for the people who don't have enough money to buy the things they need, those people must be very grateful for habitat for humanity. I am too because it makes me sad seeing homeless people on the streets. It makes me very sad seeing them there when everyone should have someplace warm to sleep and a job, food, water and a home. No one deserves to be cold, hungry, thirsty or lonely. You should look forward to going back to your house, instead of not wanting to. I used to not like going home because I had no friends to play, all of my friends had friends to play with. I got lonely playing by myself when my parents were doing things around the house. Then after a while some kids moved to our neighborhood. Eventually I made some really great friends,I used to play outside for hours with my friends. Now I love being at home with my family, pets and friends. Thank you
