Meaning of Home

Having a home is important. Not just because it’s safe or warm or nice, but because when people don’t have a home, they don’t feel safe. I am going to say some things about why I think a home is important. Not just for other people, but why I think a home is to me. Here I go. I think a home is supposed to keep you hopeful, warm, safe and comforted. If you come home from school and think about the people who don't have homes, it can hurt you. If we work together to help fundraise money for people who don’t have homes, then soon they will. Homes are supposed to make you feel safe, warm and cool you down in the summertime. They keep mosquitoes out and keep cold air in. Keep you warm in the winter. Sometimes people who don’t have homes have to sleep on the streets, and they feel so alone. Which is why I am doing this. So that the people don’t have to be homeless any more. This is what I think about the meaning of a home. I only think that everyone should have one so that they don’t feel unhopeful, freezing in the winter, and burning in the summer. So that they have a bathroom, a place to sleep, a bed, and a place to call home. I'm only doing this so that they can feel what I feel like about my home. So that they stay warm in the winter time, and cool in the summertime. So that they don’t have to deal with things like mosquitoes, and tics. So that they can have a place to store their toys. To mess around. Everyone should have a home, so if I win, they win a home.
