What does Home Mean to Me?
What does Home mean to me ?
Home is not just a building or people, it's a feeling. You can feel at home wherever you go. Home is love, so if you have love you can always feel at home.
At home, you can be yourself and let the inner you out, even if the inner you is crazy :/ no one will judge. Home is where I live, it’s a building, there are other people and animals, it’s a place I feel safe and protected.
But it’s not all about that, it’s more than that.
Feeling
Home is more of a feeling than it is a place.
I feel at home when I am spending time with my mum, dad, dog, or family.
You can feel at home when you're not in a building, you can feel at home in a community.
You don’t have to be with somebody, you can be alone, you could be on a walk, you can still feel at home wherever you go.
Love
Home is love, so if you have love you will always be at home.
For example: I feel loved when my mum hugs me, or when my dog licks me. I feel loved when other people are celebrating my birthday, you probably do too.
I also feel loved when somebody supports me and when they do nice things for me.
You can have more than one home, like me. I live in Toronto with my mum and that's one of my homes, but I was born and raised in Vancouver for 8 years of my life and my dad lives there as well as the rest of my family members, and that's my other home.
When I'm with my dad I feel loved, and when I'm with my mum I also feel loved,
Because you can feel loved anywhere you go. Because love is permanent.
Inner You
At school you're trying to be on your best behavior (most of us)
, but sometimes you need to just let it out, go with the flow, be weird with the weird, but relaxe as well.
At home you can just be you and have fun without people judging, have fun the way you want, and do things you enjoy.
At home is where the inner you finds pea
