Home

I think a home is a feeling not a place because if it was a place, it would change how it felt every time you moved. A home is a safe, happy, joyful place, most of the time sometimes it can make you feel sad and unhappy. When I am home, I can be myself, I don’t have to hide any feelings. When I get home from school, I always feel excited. I think everyone should feel like that. I think a home is a safe place. There is lots of love in my house. I think everyone's house should feel safe and have love. Homes don’t feel safe unless there's love in the house. If there's no love people are always fighting and injuring each other. I think everyone needs a home. Everyone needs a home now, especially because what if you have to quarantine or something. Where would you quarantine? At home in the summer, I grow a garden, it is a lot of fun. At home in the winter, I build tunnels through the snow, which is also a lot of fun. Inside my house, I play with my sister. Inside my house I make memories with my family. Everyone should be able to do those things. I feel bad that I have a big house and some people don’t have a home at all, not even a small one. I really want everyone to have a place of their own. So, I hope if my writing doesn’t win someone else's does. I hope their writing helps build a house for a big family who needs one.
