Home, I Hardly Knew Ya

“There's no place like home.” George Washington, George Washington loved his home and was upset when they said that he couldn't live in his home when he was elected. It makes sense that he was mad, it's a mansion of family, memories and safety. Cause what are homes if not baskets of juci memories, families and safety. For me my house is special to me because of the memories. Like when I pick up an Xbox controller I think of my favorite video game, or when I watch the Simpsons I think of the very first ep I ever watched. An author memorie is the time I got my first phone. I was so happy! The first picture I took was of my family and me in the dining room. The best day of my life was in are house playing a mario kart tournament with my friends and family. A big part of home for me is memories Wherever my family is, it feels like home to me. It wouldn't be home without my mom and reading with her every night. My sister and watching stuff and bonding with her. My dad and I bond over video games. It wouldn’t be home without that The only other thing that makes a home a home is safety. That is literally what being at home means : safety. I feel safe with my family which is a part of home as well. Whenever I am home I am safe. That is what home means to me. Memories, family and safety are what makes homes home. A home consists of only a few things but the most important things are really special. Safety, memories and family. I really hope that Habitat for humanity continues to grow to make homes.
