Meaning of Home

“Home is where you feel loved, appreciated and safe” - Tracey Taylor. Home isn’t just a place, it's a feeling. Home is a feeling I feel when I think of memories, family and my first house. Home is where my family is. When I’m with my family, I am happy because being around my family brings me joy. When I play games with my family, no matter where I am, I feel at home, because board games bring people together. When my family and I are sitting on the couch, watching a movie and eating pizza, it feels like home. That is what home means to me. Home is my first house. I have only ever had one house, but when I’m older and I have my own house, I’m going to think about my first house and all the good things that happened there. When I think of my house, I think of my room on the top floor, with a window where I can see my front yard. I got my first trampoline at my first house, but it broke in a storm. Now whenever we mention that, we start laughing. Memories make up your mind. When someone says the word memory, I think of a bunch of good memories and I feel at home. When I think of memories, I think of my friends and all the awesome times. In conclusion, I love my memories! Memories, family and my first house is what makes home a special feeling. The feeling of home is awesome because when I feel it I think of good things like family memories, and my first house. Home is an amazing warm happy feeling you get in certain times. Have I convinced you that home is a feeling you want to feel?
