The Meaning of Home

There’s no place like home, what’s home to you? Homes and houses are very different, They’re far from the same. What’s the difference between a house and a home you may ask, well a house is where you live somewhere with all your stuff. A house is maybe elsewhere you don't feel really safe, like a stranger's house. That’s a house, not a home. A home however, it can be where you feel safe and welcomed. It’s somewhere where you are loved and have fun. Homes are safe places, sometimes it might be a little unsafe or just a bit unwelcomed but that doesn't change the fact that it’s your home, you own it! You’re allowed to do your hobbies, anything you want! It’s your home. Houses are where you feel unsafe, nor welcomed. Houses can feel unsafe, like you can’t do what you want. Houses are where you feel trapped. In some cases, you may not like it because of issues, your parents or anyone. It’s like you’re lonely.A house is like “an unsafe place where you live occasionally.’’ Home is a place of dwelling for the family. A home is filled with affection, bonding and love. The word ‘home’ is loving. It also means a sense of belonging. The meaning of both words is very clear. All you have to do is just pay a little attention to it. A home is a place where you feel special and it has some value to you. Also home is the location where you feel you belong. But a house is just a building and it has no meaning to you. Wherever I’m comfortable, it’s home. What about you?If you don’t feel comfortable, you should go get help or see someone. If you feel safe, that’s a home.
