Home in my Eyes

Home is home wherever you are. Whether you are in a house or in a car. Everyone should have a home and this is what my home means to me. My home is where I danced around the kitchen to cheer me up when I was feeling sad. My home is where I had some privacy to cool down when I was feeling mad. My home is where I did backflips into the pool when I was feeling energetic and happy. My home is where I sat by the fire pit when I was feeling tired. As my home shifts from season to season it stays my home. From the summer splashing around in the pool with neighbors. To the fall where our grandparents come and hand out the sweet halloween candy. In the winter, going in the hot tub and then rolling in the snow in our bathing suits and getting super cold. To spring where we plant our huge backyard garden. My home stays a safe place where I can be who I want to be. Home is a place where all can make mistakes and all will be forgiven for those mistakes. Home means my best friend being two houses away from me and always coming over. Home means It can be any of my friend's second home. Home means having a safe place where all people can stay. Home means freshly cooked meals for my family and friends to enjoy around our table. Home is a place where I can express myself in different extraordinary creative ways. Home means baking cookies and making a huge mess. Home means every room is filled with cherished memories. A home is not about the physical house. It might just be small enough for a mouse. Your home is your home whatever that will be for this is home in my eyes and that's how I see it.
