The Meaning of Home

Home. Home is a safe place. It's where you are loved and where you love others. They will always care about you. They will always be there no matter what. I know that my family will always welcome me. I can always count on them. When I'm hurt, my mom and dad will take care of me. When I am sick they will give me medicine, take care of me, and bring me to a doctor. When I'm sad my brother and sister cheer me up. They are my shoulder to cry on. They make me laugh and they make me happy. They will stand up for me when I'm being bullied. I know that even though we fight, we will always make up because I love them and they love me. Even though they won't always be by my side, I will always cherish the memories I have of them. I am lucky to have a home because not many people do. That is what home means to me.
