What Home Means to Me

Home can be many things, but home to me is a place where I grow as a person. Home is not always perfect, yet it is a place full of love and dreams. Though people make mistakes it is a place where you can forgive them and move on. Home to me is a place where I can feel safe and protected in any way because the people in the home care about you even if sometimes it's hard to see. Home is different to many people but it is always somewhere special. It is full of happy memories that you cherish and will carry with you throughout your life. It's a place where you take adventures and risks. It is somewhere where you make friendships and let them grow. There are different families in homes, some that have pets , some that don't, some with a lot of people. But home is a place that you can call your own. It is a place where you take adventures. To me a home is different then a house because a home is a place where the people in it grow and make memories and friendships and where it's nice and cozy but a house is just another building with a roof and some walls to live in. My parents always support me in my decisions because they care. I love my home and the people in it and I think that's what makes them special and one of a kind. Home should always be a place to feel safe and supported, but it is not always a good place to be and that’s why I wrote this is to give people a better place to go and to live in and to make their own.
