What Home Means to Me

A home means a lot to me, but my home is my family and the four main things are love, fun, safety, and health. Love is important because it means a lot to me. It means that people in my home help’s me when I'm hurt. Give me treats when I deserve them. Pay’s attention to me when I need it. Second is fun. My family takes me on fun adventures and lets me play sports and they come watch me. Third is health. My family is very caring. They give me vitamins, healthy food and drinks, and they take care of me when I'm sick. They even tell me to go to sleep so I feel better. Fourth is safety. My family keeps me safe from strangers. Look’s out for me when I am maybev going to get hurt. They use proper bandages and medicine. And I know my parents well enough so that I'm not scared about them helping me. My home means a lot to me in many different ways. It makes me feel safe and loved . When I hear the word house I think of a shelter that holds me , but when I hear home is the place i love , my place where I belong and my family. My home protects me and my feelings. Sometimes when I get home from school all I want to do is hug my bed and never let go. I've lived in my home for my whole life. It's been through all my fights and all my anger. And I hate that some families can't have that so I'm writing this for the families that don't have a proper home or even just a roof on top of their heads. I think my life is better when I have a home, but I think that I’m not the to say that because I've always had a home.
