The Meaning of Home

When I think of home, I feel so many different ways. I feel comfort and love. It's like a special place to call your own. A house is the structure to start making memories that will make it feel like home. A house is the shelter that protects you from the cold of winter and the downpour of rain. A home does all of that but much, much more. A house is the building holding your family safe within its walls. A home is the space you know you belong in no matter how old you are. So, if you were to ask me what a home was, my answer would be this: a home is the emotional part of your life, the place you know you can always go to, the place you can count on to bring your spirits up.
