The Meaning Of Home To Me

A house is a structure. Where all of the furniture sits. My house is built of brick, shingles, and wood. A house is where you are covered from the rain, wind, sun, and snow. A house is where my Mom, Dad, and brother live. But home is love, laughter, and fun. Your parents love you no matter what. Laughter is when your brother or sister makes you laugh. Fun is fun when you go outside and play games or when you play board games with your family. Remember when your Dad, brother, sister, or Mom does something funny and then from that day on you remember that moment and that happened in your home. Well, that’s what a home is for. For memories to grow. The meaning of home to me is love. People think there’s no difference between a house and a home. But the difference is that a house is just what you live in. The home is where your family loves you for who you are. Home is where you can feel comfortable and cozy. Home is where you can be yourself. Everyone has different homes and what they love about their homes. That's the meaning of home to me. That comes from the heart.
