The Meaning of Home to Me

When you ask me the question, the difference between a house and a home might sound the same but there’s a meaning of the two. A house to me is a building, any type of structure, possibly an apartment and any house that has 4 walls and a roof. Furniture inside, anything to fill it. Toys, beds, furniture all over the house. But when you think of a home you don’t think of any of this. When home comes across my mind I think of a place where I feel encouraged to come back to everyday, where the people who I love stay. A home is a place where you feel comfortable and wanted. Love pours out every second. Warmth where I feel greeted and welcomed. My home is where my heart is filled with joy when I'm around. Home to me is not just a house but much bigger than that. But the biggest thing is that I feel safe and I can call this house my loving home.
