What Home is Like to Me

Home is like a warm, cozy place where I feel safe and loved. At night I can sleep peacefully knowing nothing will happen to me and my family. When I get my food I feel thankful because I know some other kids are not as fortunate. My home is a place to be loved and cherished because it makes me feel secure. The home I live in has a beautiful lake that we swim at in the summer. The lake we have has clear water, lots of fish, and calming waves. I am surrounded by wildlife and beautiful trees. The sounds of birds tweeting are calming and it creates a peaceful melody. I am thankful for the snow that falls so we can play in the snow all day. In my house I always have someone to play with because I have 3 sisters. I am thankful each day for all that I have. I wish everyone could be as lucky as I am, and have a place like mine to call home.
