What Home Means To Me

My home is not just made up of brick and stone it is made up of strong memories which make me never feel alone. Every morning when I wake up, I know my family is close by, we’re all together, in our home. Whenever I am sick and need a rest, the only place I want to be is home, that is the best. Home is a place where I can be me, where I can sing out loud, carelessly and free. Home is also a special place where I have my own space to laugh, dance and play, every day no matter what people might say. Each morning and every night if I’m in my home I know I will be alright. No matter if your home is big and tall or short and small, a home is a home, and no one can change that. And as I doze off in bed, being in my home brings peace to my head. Home is a hard word to describe, but in a home there is a good vibe. My home is like a box of memories that I will cherish forever and if I ever leave, those memories will help keep things together. One day I may leave my home and forget it’s actual size and look but I will always remember it like my favourite book. Habitat for humanity helps people to build a house, that they can turn into a home.
