Home is Peace!

Something that makes a house a home is a house can be built with brick and stone but a home can only be built fondness, a family, and where you feel belonged. My favorite thing about home is that my safety matters and my family lets me giggle with them. Let’s say you live in a mansion and your parents give you everything. Another thing is, you are the only child you only go into your backyard and your parents always work and you rarely see them so you are lonely. So who cares if you are rich you have no support no love, and no one to carry you when you are in a tough time. In my opinion, yes people do need a home no matter how impoverished or wealthy we all need to have a home where people are kind and have our back. I’m most grateful for my home its peace, relaxation, dreams, my joyful time, and where I listen to music and regroup. If I didn’t have a home I’d try not to be in despair because I have almost no respect, almost no food, and no protection! Furthermore, home feels like the freshwater coming from the tap, the cold hands of my parents and, the breeze of air on my skin. Also home smells like hot burning cocoa, cooking potatoes in a pot, the clean air in my backyard and, the smell of a warm toasty fire. Home may be the only place people can go in times, but what happens if you don’t have a home? That’s why many children in grades 4, 5 and, 6 are writing in any form to put a $30,000 grand prize and a runner-up prize for $10,000 into a demolished home.
