What does home mean to me

Having a home is very important to me. Having a home is important to me because I have never really had a place to call home. In my twelve years of living, I had moved seven times, I had moved houses and I had moved between living with my auntie and my mom. Out of all the houses I had lived in I feel like the ones that felt more like home was the apartment I lived in when I was five years old. That apartment felt like home because I could be myself, it was a house that provided me with food, love, and care. And even though I was noticeably young I had so many great friends there. They were all older than me and they were still so amazing and sweet. In the second house I was living with my auntie and the reason it felt at home was because I had friends there. I never really felt like I could be myself because I was not comfortable with my auntie. It also felt like home because my cousins were there with me, they are like my best friends. So, to me, home is a place where I have friends, where I'm loved and cared for and a place that provides me with a place to sleep
