Home Means Feeling

Home means a roof over my head to keep me from all the cold out in the world. It does not mean a house it means a place I live in and feel comfortable in. Somewhere to share love with family and friends. It's A place I belong in. I have a trampoline in my backyard that me, my siblings and my dad play in a lot during summer and spring. During cold days me and my family have gaming nights and play board games like monopoly and scrabble. Home is fun just like this time me and my sister tried skating on the floor with our socks but tumbled down a lot. Or like this time I did a flip and almost fell out of the trampoline. Home makes me feel full of joy and playfulness when I get to play board games with my family and have fun playing tag with my siblings. It makes me feel warm and comfortable when we watch movies together. It makes me feel creative when I craft and draw on our table. It makes me feel happy to have quality time with my family. Me and my sister love doing gymnastics on the couch. We do flips and tricks. That’s what I love about our couch. There are so many different tricks we do on it like doing a summer salt on our soft grey couch and balancing on the rim. Everyday I can’t wait to go to my room , me and my sister's room. We have a bookmark store where we make our own bookmarks and sell them for fake paper money. Home is where I eat , drink , laugh , draw , craft and sleep. Home means feeling all these emotions of happiness and joy, even sadness and anger but home is still the place I live and grow. I can’t imagine living without a home. I always feel happy to wake up at home but even though sometimes I don’t wake up at home I still feel happy to see family and that is what makes a home.
