The Meaning of Home

Home is a place that fills me up with happiness, a place where I can be loved. My brother is fun, lovable and gives me joy. My mother is sweet, kind and gives me lots of pride. My dad is powerful, funny and gives me lots of courage. These people are the ones I love most, who will be there no matter what. My friends have a home too but I call that a house. It is not mine but it is theirs, I call my house home. Home is safe and it protects me from those who aren’t kind. Those who might not have a family to learn from. My home is perfect. I don't want to imagine what it would be like if I didn’t have a home. Home can’t be replaced. Home is just the place for me.
