Meaning of Home

A home is a place you play, a place you love, a place you stay. While a house is just the building, the home inside is the feeling. In my home we do lots of things, we have fun and make memories. All these memories are full of fun and many more are sure to come. At our home we might be sad, really happy or really mad. Home is your own sanctuary, a place you're happy, a place you're free. Home is where no one is judged, a place where everyone is equal and loved. Home is a place where you care, a place you help, a place you're aware. Home is a place you're warm, a place where you can escape the storm. Home is where you belong, a place you learn, a place you’re strong. I wrote this poem to raise awareness and to help out. Everyone deserves a place they can call not just a house but a home.
