What Home Means To Me…

What Home Means To Me… A house can be anything from a bush, to a box, or an old broken car. While a home is a place to feel safe and a place to relax, after all the hard stuff we’ve been through. Homes are where you hang out with friends and family, it's also a place where you eat and argue with one another. It’s also a place where we make memories with each other, our homes may change throughout our lives, but we can also remember our good and bad memories from each home. The meaning of home to other people may be different from your meaning of home. Some people might say what home means to them like chimney, family and a lot more. The meaning of to me is where family and memories are created. If I were to ask you what home means to you what would it be? The difference between a house and home. In my opinion houses and homes are very different, a house can be anything and they can sometimes be empty while homes are a lot different. They can be filled with a lot of things like furniture, people, love, joy, and homes are also where you can feel safe from the outside world. There are a lot of people that don’t have homes, like the homeless. We should all be grateful that we have homes to live in. I am happy to participate in this project that Habitat for Humanity has hosted. The more the people that participate in this project the more the chances that a homeless family or friends have a chance of getting a house.
