A House and a Home, Two Very Different Things

A house is made of wood and beams, A home is made of love and dreams. A house needs bricks, supports, and a few metal locks, a home is where my family lies, a motel, an apartment, or a cardboard box! A house brings shelter to rain and thunderstorms, a home brings shelter to bad dreams and evil life forms. A house is a structure that sits lifeless, a home is a thing that's completely priceless. A house uses materials that are changeable, a home uses materials that are irreplaceable. A house can be $150000 when it is sold, a home is extremely valuable, worth more than gold. A house can be small, with nothing inside, a home can grow large, and filled with pride. A house can be built by Habitat for Humanity… a home can be made by a happy family. :) A home can become so valuable you can't even explain it in words. A home can contain so many memories and stories, magical as birds. This is what home means to me, and I believe others deserve a home too.
