What Home Is To Me

Hi! My name is Georgios if you didn’t already know. I’m here to answer the question: what is home to me? Home can mean so many different things, but for me it means family, happiness, quiet and freedom. Let’s explore what home means to me. Home to me is family. My parents and my sister are apart of my home. My parents encourage me to try my best. They help me persevere through tough times. My sister and I spend so much time laughing and playing. We create so many memories together. Some of my favourite memories are bike riding, going to Florida, movie nights and playing Just Dance together. Home wouldn’t be the same without my family. Happiness is home is to me. At home I’m able to game online with my friends and that makes me very happy. It takes away all the pressure of assignments due at school. I’m even able to make friends and socialize without leaving my home. It also allows me to experience adventures online which can be cool and fun. The happiness gaming at home brings to me can make a bad day a good day. Home to me is quiet. Home is a quiet place where I can calm my thoughts. I can self reflect on what I did throughout my day and see what I can improve. Lastly, it prepares me for the next day without any stress. The quietness of home brings me peace. Finally, home is freedom. The freedom I experience at home allows me to scream, shout, run around in circles until I get dizzy. I have the freedom to play soccer with my friends or my dad to pass the time. Also, home brings me freedom to relax in our warm pool at the end of the day. The freedom home provides let’s me be me. Can you relate to any of the things that are home to me? Now that you’ve heard what home is to me, what is home to you?
