My Home

Home is not just a location. Home is where I find comfort and safety. Of course, I can feel comfy in a physical way almost anywhere, but there is also emotional comfort that I feel by being surrounded by my family and my favorite things to do. Only at home can you eat your mom’s best cooking, play your favorite video games, and watch your siblings do funny things. I am always welcome at home. It is a place where I can go and always feel wanted, or a sense of belonging. But that does not mean that home can never change. Part of what makes home such a lovely place is that it can be anywhere that you feel you belong. For instance, you could move from a small town to downtown in a big city, bringing your family and belongings and starting your new job there. Even though the space around you has changed, you can still feel at home.
