Why Everyone Should Have a Home

Homes are important because you have a family that loves you. I have a Mom, a Dad, a brother, and a sister. I love my family because they keep me safe. I have food and water. We have shelter to keep us safe, and I have a bed to keep me warm. We can play games and cook food to eat. We have a dinner table to put food on. I feel happy when I am with my family. I have friends like Gracie, Claire, and Anneke who come to my house. I am so happy I have a home. I love my family and my house. My neighbourhood is friendly like a parrot's rainforest. I walk on the sidewalk like the parrot flies in the sky. I have a family that loves me, and the parrot has a family too. I eat food like fruit salad, meat, blueberries, and apples, and the parrot eats fruits, nuts, bugs, and seeds. I visit my friends, and the parrot sees butterflies and monkeys and peacocks. My home is different, because we live in the city, and parrots live in the wild. If everyone had a home, then they would get food and a bed and a dinner table, and they would be safe in the home. They would feel happy, loved, and excited when they are at home. They can cook food like meat, apples and pears. Families can live together. They can play outside together. We can see friends to play with. I love everyone in my family.
